Metropolitan Bride purchased Springfield Missouri's largest wedding organization in September 2008. Targeting eloquent and affluent brides in the Springfield/Branson markets, Metropolitan Bride strives to unite engaged couples with gifted artists and skilled professionals.
Why does Metropolitan Bride support a local charity? From the beginning, Metropolitan Bride has been active in supporting a local charity. We believe it is our responsibility to give back to the community that supports us. What kinds of giveaways are available and what are the details? Bridal Show Grand Giveaway Held at the end of the bridal show, this drawing features a large gift item (At least $500 value) sponsored by a Metropolitan Bride merchant. Any bridal show merchant is eligible to sponsor this giveaway. The sponsoring business will be featured in advertising (where appropriate) and will be recognized at the show. Registration and bridal show attendance is required for winners. Tote Bag for Brides These bags are given to each bride when she enters the showroom and may be used for the materials offered by vendors at the show. Sponsorship of this giveaway will be offered to the vendor doing the Bridal Show Grand Giveaway first. If they choose not to provide the bags, other show vendors may volunteer. Gift Baskets for Silent Auction Any show vendor has the opportunity to be part of this event designed to raise funds for the local charity. These baskets will be on display and available for bidding from the time the Metropolitan Bridal Expo opens until one hour prior to closing. Anyone may bid. Sign up for a display spot on the Gift Basket table at the Pre-Show Vendor Meeting or e-mail the office. Bring your basket to Vendor Check-In on the day before the show or by 9 am on the show date. There is no charge to participate in this event. Be sure your card or brochure is plainly visible in the basket! Online Bridal Registration Drawings Vendors in each trade area may choose to participate in prize drawings for brides who register online. These prizes are gift certificates provided by local vendors and advertised on the Metropolitan Bridal website. If you are interested in participating in any of these giveaways, contact your sales representative or the Metropolitan Bride office. Why do we charge admission to the show and who gets the money? Show admission fees go directly to the local charity. We have found that the small fees charged also help the vendors. This attracts serious brides who do not mind paying a minimal charge to spend a day planning their weddings with the best professionals the area has to offer.
